Role: SQL Server DBA
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ months contract





Skills:
- Proven 3-5 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience

- Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service

- Experience of SQL Server cluster installation, maintenance and support

- Experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.

- Experience in managing the internal and external SQL Server database security

- Experience in Transact SQL development, especially in stored procedure and views

- Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development IDE for database and data comparison and test data generation

- Experience working in Windows Server environments

- Ability to investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented

- Hands-on experience on relational database ER model design

- Experience supporting 24X7 production environments

- Document standard procedures, problems resolutions and environment modifications

- Experience with key database modeling tools like Embarcadero ER/Studio, CA ERWin

Desired:
- Microsoft SQL Server related certification

- Experience of other database systems, preferably PostGres
