Description:
1) 5-12 Years' experience in administering Windows 2000/ 2003 Server and Active Directory.
Will be responsible for the maintenance RIMM Project (Including Remote Installation and Maintenance of existing setup / Server / Servers and installation of new setup / Server / Servers).
2) Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM / HP / Dell /. Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtime's.
3) Responsible for Root cause analysis
4) Responsible for Resolving Escalated issue.
5) Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports.
6) Will make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed inthe required time limits and escalated as per the escalation Matrix.
7) Knowledge on ESX servers from command line
8) Monitoring and Performance analysis on ESX Servers and VMs
9) Patching of ESX severs and VMs with VMware Update manager
10) Allocation of storage spaces to VMs through SAN
11) Ability to work with VSPHERE / VMware Consolidated Backup / Virtual machine backups
12) Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
13) Global exposure in large environments would be preferred.
14) Must be open for 24x7 operations
15) MCSE / MCSA / MCP / MCITP / VCP are a must.
16) Basic knowledge on Linux/ AIX/ Solaris.
