L-2 Visa Holders – EAD Card Application Process

L2 Visa Holders are allowed to work in the United States. L-2 visa holders are the spouses of L-1 visa holders, who is allowed to accompany L-1 visa holders during their stay in the USA. L-1 visa holders are those non-immigrants, who work for international companies with offices both in the United States and abroad.
Distinct from the H-4 visa holders (who cannot work in the United States), who are the spouses of H-1B visa holders, L-2 visa holders are given Employment Authorization and are legally allowed to work in the United States.
