PROJECT SUMMARY
Resource is evaluated on his/her ability to interface professionally with project teams, identify and analyze quality risks, determine the test approach, determine test project scope, prepare time estimates, facilitate and manage the project testing schedule, prepare and facilitate the implementation of test plans, and manage the outsource testing vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with the following on large scale projects:
Monitoring a QA team involved in testing ETL and BI systems with multiple data sources
Develop of test approaches / strategies for large scale data projects
Hands-on experience with manual testing
Identifying and analyzing quality risks in data warehouse projects
Determining testing scope
Preparing, managing time estimates and fixed bid deliverables (SOW)
Reviewing supplier deliverables and providing feedback and direction
Assessing Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on project and testing engagement
Preparing and managing the project testing schedule
Preparing and facilitating the implementation of test plans
Managing defects
Excellent communication (written, verbal)
Ability to handle 4-6 projects in various stages at the same time
Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternatives
Organizational and planning skills
Analytical skills
Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with any of the following would be a plus:
Accounting / Financial background and Data Warehouse testing
Implementation
Infomatica
Hyperion
Security testing
Middleware (Tibco) understand concept and how to test it
Siebel (used more than SAP) and SAP
Rules Engine understand concept and how to build scenarios around it
Loan origination / loan servicing experience
Automotive Finance experience
Knowledge / Experience in use of Mercury/HP QTP, Load Runner, Quality Center or other QA tools
