Title: SQL Database Administrator
Location: Ft. Worth, Texas
Duration: 6 months +
The SQL Server DBA will:
Monitor, analyze, fix document and ensure high database performance, troubleshooting, process optimization, development solutions, problem resolution, database security, and HA (high availability) with VMWare guests.
Work to ensure SQL Server and its related components high resilience and provide performance tuning.
Proactively monitor and resolve issues with various SQL Server components/subsystems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
Troubleshoot and create problem resolution.
Improve and maintain the SQL Server infrastructure, including migration / upgrades with change control.
Implement and release ongoing database changes according to agreed timeframes and costs.
