So my friend recently went to India for vacation, since this was the first time he was going to India on h-1b, he had to get his h-1b visa stamped, he booked an appointment at the Hyderabad american consulate, you need to send all the required documents before hand, so when go for the interview they have already reviewed all your documents. So here is the interview as it happened

shravan: for nearly one year
interviewer: explain you job responsibilities
shravan: so and so processes…
interviewer:show me the client letter
shravan: shown
interviewer: do you have any vendors
shravan: yes i have two vendors between my employer and client
interviewer:show me the vendor letter
shravan: shown
interviewer: show me your passport
shravan: shown
interviewer: you look different
shravan: its been 4 years, i have slimmed down
interviewer: ok we ll send you your passport
shravan: thank you, have a nice day

some tips from my friend
try to book an appointment early in the morning, when the staff is fresh and usually in a good mood, and hyderabad consulate is among the more lenient ones, also dress and look professional
