Job Description:
The ideal candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft .NET framework and must have extensive knowledge of C# or VB.Net andASP.NET.
The candidate must also be experienced using the DotNetNuke content management platform.
Skills:
· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
· 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting web applications.
· 5+ years of experience designing and developing software applications applying object oriented programming.
· 5+ years of experience using Microsoft .NET framework including C# and ASP.NET.
· 5+ years of experience using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, Internet Information Server (IIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Visual Studio.
· 2+ years DotNetNuke API and 3rd party integration
· Experienced writing applications using ASP.NET web forms.
· Must be experienced with the DotNetNuke content management platform for creating web applications and DNN Customize Modules.
· Experience using the Telerik controls library is a plus.
· Must be experienced with several versions of Microsoft .NET framework including .NET 3.5 and 4.0.
· Must be experienced using Visual Studio 2008 and 2010.
· Must be experienced using ADO.NET including the Entity Framework.
· Must be experienced programming in Microsoft SQL server.
· Must be experienced using version control systems.
· Must be experienced designing and developing modern web applications.
· Must have experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, and JavaScript (ECMAScript 5).
· Must have experienced using JavaScript frameworks that enhance client experience like jQuery, Knockout, Dojo, YUI, Ext JS, Google Closure, etc.
· Must understand concepts of Service Oriented Architecture.
· Must be experienced developing and consuming web services.
· Must be experienced on common messaging protocols and data formats including SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSD, and XSLT.
· Must be familiar with common software architecture patterns.
· Experience working in an agile software development environment.
